The best way to digest the fabulous regional cuisine that you are going to experience is to enjoy the product of the vast vineyards of Alentejo, whose wines take in the power of the landscape and the heat and can be counted amongst the most celebrated in Portugal.
Wine producers in Alentejo were really born when the Romans were in Portugal. It is from these times the creation of tools like the podão (a pruning knife) and the use of terracotta tanks to facilitate the fermentation of the must and to store wine. You will visit 2 wineries and feel the warm weight of all these traditions while sipping charming Alentejo nectars.
Visit the quarries and factories is not advisable for people with problems significant health problems, reduced ability to walk, and prone to allergies.

All visitors of White Gold Alentejo Route must be mandatorily equipped with a helmet and reflective vest provided by Rota. Its usage is mandatory throughout the path component in the quarry or factory.
Strict compliance with the directions of the White Gold Route is a mandatory condition for participation in the activity.
This itinerary includes:

On the 2 days itineraries, the transfer from Lisbon to the airport is free of charge. On the 3 days itineraries, the transfer from the airport to Lisbon and from Lisbon to the airport is free of charge (applicable conditions for groups between 2 and 7 people and only for the transfers to and from the airport).

Should it be necessary to alter an itinerary, a supplier of equal value and quality shall be chosen. The client shall be notified in writing of any changes made to an itinerary.
